The Studio at Reconnect is our dedicated movement space, based within Reconnect Health in Annacotty. Designed to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and lifelong fitness, it is a place where you can build on the work done in physio, develop strength and mobility, and find a form of movement that works for you long term.

Our small-group classes focus on Pilates, Yoga and mobility, in a supportive environment where every session is adapted to your level and goals.

Recovery does not end when your pain does. Building strength, mobility and body awareness through regular, guided movement is one of the most effective ways to stay pain free and reduce the risk of injury coming back.

That is exactly what The Studio is here for.

Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact, full-body method focused on improving posture, balance and core control. It strengthens the deep stabilising muscles, increases mobility through the spine and hips, and helps restore natural alignment. Ideal for anyone looking to build strength, prevent injury or simply move with greater ease.

Men's Pilates

The same benefits as our standard Pilates class, in a men-only setting. It strengthens the deep stabilising muscles, increases mobility through the spine and hips, and helps restore natural alignment. This class runs on Thursday evenings.

Gentle Flow Yoga

A slower, more mindful style of yoga that blends breath and movement to improve flexibility, reduce tension and leave you feeling grounded and restored. Suitable for all levels, including complete beginners.

Energy Flow Yoga

An uplifting, dynamic class that combines strength, stretch and breath awareness. Designed to boost energy and mobility while reducing stress, it balances effort and ease, leaving you feeling grounded yet invigorated.

Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga offers all the benefits of yoga with the support of a stable chair. It includes seated and standing exercises designed to improve mobility, balance and relaxation. Perfect for beginners, those managing pain/stiffness, or anyone looking for an accessible practice.

How do I know if these classes are right for me?

Most people can safely join our classes, as movements are scaled to suit all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners. If you are recovering from an injury or managing a health condition, contact us in advance and we can help you find the best starting point.

Do I need any experience to join?

Not at all. All of our classes are suitable for complete beginners. Movements are scaled to suit every level, so you can start at whatever point feels right for you.

I am recovering from an injury. Can I still take part?

In most cases, yes. If you are coming off the back of treatment or managing a health condition, we recommend getting in touch before your first class so we can point you in the right direction and make sure you get the most out of it.

What is the difference between Pilates and Yoga?

Pilates focuses primarily on core strength, posture and controlled movement. Yoga brings in breathwork and mindfulness alongside physical movement, with a broader focus on flexibility, balance and mental wellbeing. Both complement each other well, and many of our clients attend both.

How many people are in each class?

All of our classes are small-group, so you will always get plenty of attention and guidance from your instructor.

What should I wear and bring?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. We recommend bringing a water bottle. Mats are available in the studio.

How do I book?

All classes can be booked online through BookingHawk. You can choose from a monthly block, a flexible bundle, or pay-as-you-go at €15 per class.
